Das Origin-System versorgt die Pflanzen kontinuierlich mit kleinen Mengen Wasser und Nährstoffen, wodurch die Pflanzen mehr Wasser und Nährstoffe erhalten als bei der Bewässerung von Hand.
Wenn man nur einmal am Tag gießt, kann man einer Pflanze nicht alle Wasser- und Nährstoffe geben, die sie für optimales Wachstum benötigt, da das Substrat sonst durchnässt wird und die Pflanze nicht genug Sauerstoff bekommt.
Im Origin-System erhalten die Pflanzen regelmäßig kleine Mengen an Wasser und Nährstoffen. So können sie mehr aufnehmen, werden nie über- oder unterversorgt, weder mit Wasser noch mit Nährstoffen – deshalb erzielen Sie mit Origin im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Töpfen höhere Erträge.
Durch die häufige Bewässerung können Blähton zusammen mit den enthaltenen blauen Flut-Tropfern verwendet werden. Blähton ermöglicht deutlich mehr Luft im Wurzelbereich als jedes andere Substrat – und besserer Zugang zu Sauerstoff = höhere Erträge.
Sie können im System auch Kokos oder Erde verwenden, sofern Sie die mitgelieferten 2-Liter-pro-Stunde-Pfeiltropfer einsetzen. Wir empfehlen die Verwendung eines Bewässerungstimers, um die Dosierung zu steuern und eine Überwässerung zu vermeiden.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
