Das Origin-System wurde entwickelt, um Folgendes einzuschließen:

- Ein praktischer Hahn zum Mischen von Nährstoffen
- Einfacherer Zugang zum Wassertank

Das Origin versorgt die Pflanzen häufig mit kleinen Mengen Wasser und Nährstoffen, was den Pflanzen mehr Wasser und Nährstoffe bietet, als bei der Bewässerung von Hand.
Wenn Sie nur einmal pro Tag gießen, können Sie den Pflanzen nicht alle Wasser- und Nährstoffmengen geben, die sie für ein optimales Wachstum benötigen, da das Substrat dadurch durchnässt und die Pflanze vom Sauerstoff abgeschnitten wäre.
Im Origin-System werden die Pflanzen mit Wasser und Nährstoffen regelmäßig und in kleinen Mengen versorgt. Dadurch können sie mehr Wasser und Nährstoffe aufnehmen und sind nie über- oder unterversorgt – so erzielt das Origin im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Töpfen höhere Erträge.
Aufgrund der häufigen Bewässerung können Blähton mit den enthaltenen blauen Flut-Tropfspießen verwendet werden. Blähton sorgt für wesentlich mehr Luft an den Wurzeln als jedes andere Substrat – besserer Sauerstoffzugang = höhere Erträge.
Sie können auch Coco oder Erde im System verwenden, wenn Sie die ebenfalls im Set enthaltenen 2 Liter pro Stunde Arrow-Tropfspieße verwenden. Wir empfehlen den Einsatz eines Bewässerungstimers, um die Gießintervalle zu steuern und sicherzustellen, dass das Medium nicht überwässert wird.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
