Origin-Tropfbewässerungssysteme sind darauf ausgelegt, hohe Erträge auf möglichst einfache Weise zu erzielen.
Das Origin-System wurde entwickelt, um folgende Funktionen einzuschließen:

- Ein praktischer Hahn zum Mischen von Nährstoffen
- Einfacherer Zugang zum Reservoir
Das Origin ist wie ein Topf mit einem persönlichen Assistenten!
Das Origin versorgt die Pflanzen häufig und in kleinen Mengen, wodurch die Pflanzen mehr Wasser und Nährstoffe erhalten als bei der Handbewässerung.
Wenn man nur einmal täglich gießt, kann man einer Pflanze nicht alle Wasser- und Nährstoffmengen für optimales Wachstum geben, da sonst das Substrat durchnässt wird und die Pflanze unter Sauerstoffmangel leidet.
Im Origin-System werden die Pflanzen oft und in kleinen Mengen mit Wasser und Nährstoffen versorgt. So können sie mehr aufnehmen, ohne jemals über- oder unterversorgt zu sein. Das Ergebnis sind höhere Erträge im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Töpfen.
Durch die häufige Bewässerung können Tonkugeln zusammen mit den mitgelieferten blauen Flut-Tropfern verwendet werden. Tonkugeln bieten den Wurzeln deutlich mehr Luft als jedes andere Substrat – besserer Zugang zu Sauerstoff = höhere Erträge.
Sie können im System auch Kokos oder Erde verwenden, wenn Sie die mitgelieferten 2-Liter-pro-Stunde-Tropfer verwenden. Wir empfehlen die Benutzung eines Bewässerungstimers, um die Fütterungszeiten zu steuern und eine Überwässerung des Substrats zu vermeiden.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
