Die charakteristischen selbstbewässernden Reservoirs von Vegepod wurden speziell für den Vegebag angepasst. Sie fassen 6 Liter Wasser, wobei die einzigartige Dochtzelle den Wasserverbrauch um bis zu 80 % reduziert. Das Gemüse wird von den Wurzeln her bewässert und die im Boden enthaltenen Nährstoffe werden in das Wurzelsystem aufgenommen, anstatt wie bei herkömmlichen Pflanzentöpfen aus dem Beutel herausgespült zu werden.
Das charakteristische Vegepod-Gewebe umhüllt den Vegebag und sorgt für erstaunliche Wachstumsraten sowie Schutz vor Wildtieren, Haustieren, Schädlingen, Insekten und widrigen Wetterbedingungen.
Klappen Sie einfach den Beutel auf, platzieren Sie die Dochtzelle am Boden des Vegebags und füllen Sie den unteren Bereich mit hochwertiger Komposterde (80 Liter). Pflanzen Sie Ihr Gemüse ein. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Vegebag ausreichend Sonnenlicht erhält (wir empfehlen 6 Stunden) und bei ausbleibendem Regen regelmäßig gegossen wird.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
