Stax (früher bekannt als Stackswell) ist eine spezielle Mischung aus Huminsäuren, Kalzium, Zucker und Magnesium – diese bilden die Grundlage für die Ernährung Ihrer Pflanzen und fördern ein schnelleres und größeres Wachstum sowie dickere Stängel.
Kalzium und Magnesium
Kalzium ist ein essentielles Nährstoffelement und spielt eine wichtige Rolle in vielen physiologischen Prozessen. Unter anderem ist Kalzium an der Bildung der Zellwand, der Zellteilung und -ausdehnung sowie an der Enzymaktivität beteiligt. Ein Mangel an Kalzium kann zu Wachstumsstörungen und anderen Problemen führen, wie zum Beispiel Blütenendfäule bei Tomaten und Paprika.
Magnesium ist ein weiteres essentielles Makronährstoffelement für Pflanzen. Es ist an der Photosynthese, der Produktion von Chlorophyll und der Synthese von ATP (Adenosintriphosphat, der Energiewährung der Zelle) beteiligt. Ein Magnesiummangel kann eine Gelbfärbung der Blätter (Chlorose) verursachen und im schlimmsten Fall zum Absterben der Pflanze führen.
Huminsäure
Huminsäure ist ein komplexes Gemisch organischer Säuren, die durch den Abbau von pflanzlichem und tierischem Material entstehen. Huminsäure kann die physikalischen, chemischen und biologischen Eigenschaften von Böden verbessern. Sie erhöht die Fähigkeit von Substraten, Wasser und Nährstoffe zu speichern, fördert die Drainage und reduziert die Verdichtung. Huminsäure kann außerdem die Aktivität von Mikroorganismen steigern und die Freisetzung von Nährstoffen aus organischem Material fördern. Sie wirkt als Chelator und macht Nährstoffe leichter verfügbar.
Zucker
Die oben genannten Inhaltsstoffe wirken in Synergie mit den Zuckern, um die Fotosyntheserate zu erhöhen und die Nährstoffaufnahme zu verbessern. Die Zucker dienen sowohl der Pflanze als auch den nützlichen Mikroorganismen im Substrat als Energiequelle.

Jungpflanzen/Frühes Wachstum: Ausgangswasser auf 0,2 – 0,3 EC einstellen
Wuchsphase / frühe Blüte: Ausgangswasser auf 0,2 – 0,3 EC einstellen
Blüte: Ausgangswasser auf 0,2 – 0,3 EC einstellen

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
