- Erhöhte Harzproduktion: Viele Züchter berichten von Steigerungen um 35 % und mehr. UVR8 ist ein Protein, das von einigen Pflanzen als Abwehr gegen UVB-Licht produziert wird. Es wird durch UVB-Licht bei 288 nm angeregt.
- Echter Schutz vor Mehltau: Nachweislich hilft sie dabei, Echten Mehltau und andere Schimmelpilze zu beseitigen, die unter einer starken UV-Umgebung nicht überleben können.
- Abwehr oder Reduzierung von Schädlingen: Der UVA-Anteil von 66 % in den Lampen ist nach dem Sonnenlicht modelliert, jedoch intensiver.
- Kompaktere, dichtere Blütenbildung (weniger vergeilt): Hohe UVB-Bestrahlung reduziert die Höhe der Pflanzen während der Blüte, da die Pflanzen die ansonsten für das Wachstum verwendete Energie in die Harzproduktion umleiten.
UVB-Licht (im Bereich von 280–320 nm) wird normalerweise von der Sonne bereitgestellt. Wenn eine Pflanze UVB bei 288 nm erkennt, produziert sie das UVR8-Protein. Dieses Protein dient als chemischer Botenstoff, der der Pflanze signalisiert, mehr Öle und Harze zu produzieren, um sich vor UVB-Strahlung zu schützen.
Nur Solacure-Lampen haben den UVR8-Effekt.
Praktisch keine Lampen erzeugen UVB im Bereich von 280–320 nm, zum Teil aufgrund der Begrenzungen herkömmlichen Glases. Solacure-Lampen sind die einzige Ausnahme, denn sie verwenden eine spezielle Glassorte, die für die vollständige Durchlässigkeit des UVB-Spektrums entwickelt wurde.

ANWENDUNG
Die genaue UVB-Bestrahlungszeit variiert, ein guter Einstiegspunkt ist:
1. Beginnen Sie mit 2 Stunden pro Tag, aufgeteilt in 2 x 1 Stunde Intervalle (innerhalb der Beleuchtungsphase).
2. Erhöhen Sie die Bestrahlungszeit alle ZWEI Tage um 15 Minuten und prüfen Sie die Blätter auf Verbrennungsanzeichen – dies ist der Punkt, an dem Sie die „kritische Masse“ erreicht und das optimale Niveau für Ihre Pflanze gefunden haben.
Hinweis: Die UVB-Menge variiert in Growzelten von 2 bis 6 Stunden pro Tag und kann in größeren Räumen bis zu 12 Stunden betragen.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
