- Erhöht die Harzproduktion: Viele Züchter berichten von Steigerungen von über 35 %. UVR8 ist ein von einigen Pflanzen zur Verteidigung gegen UVB-Licht gebildetes Protein. Es wird durch UVB-Licht bei 288 nm angeregt.
- Bekämpft oder unterdrückt Mehltau: Nachweislich hilft es, Mehltau und andere Schimmelarten zu eliminieren, die in hoch-UV-Umgebungen nicht überleben können.
- Bekämpft oder unterdrückt Insekten: 66 % UVA-Anteil der Lampen ist der Sonne nachempfunden, aber intensiver.
- Kompaktere, dichtere Blütenbildung (weniger Vergeilung): Hohe UVB-Belastung verringert das Höhenwachstum der Pflanzen während der Blütezeit, da die Pflanzen die eingesparte Energie in Harzproduktion umwandeln.

ANWENDUNGSHINWEIS
Die genaue UVB-Belichtungsdauer variiert, ein guter Einstieg ist:
1. Starten Sie mit 2 Stunden pro Tag, aufgeteilt in 2 × 1-Stunden-Intervalle (innerhalb Ihrer Beleuchtungsphase).
2. Erhöhen Sie die Belichtungszeit alle ZWEI Tage um 15 Minuten und überprüfen Sie die Blattspitzen auf Anzeichen von Verbrennungen – so finden Sie den „Sweet Spot“ der maximal möglichen UV-Aufnahme Ihrer Pflanzen.
Hinweis: Die UV-Menge variiert in Growzelten von 2 bis 6 Stunden täglich, in größeren Räumen bis zu 12 Stunden.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
