Rhino ist der weltweit führende Hersteller von hydroponischen Luftfiltern. Rhino Hobby Aktivkohlefilter werden mit demselben reinen australischen Aktivkohle wie die Premium-Reihe Rhino Pro gefertigt: RC412, allerdings haben sie eine kürzere Lebensdauer.
Die Rhino Hobby Aktivkohlefilter verfügen über einen austauschbaren Boden und einen Anschlussstutzen für Luftkanäle. Sie sollten alle 8–12 Wochen gedreht werden, um die Abnutzung gleichmäßig zu verteilen und so die erwartete Lebensdauer von 9–12 Monaten voll auszuschöpfen.

Welches Kit ist passend für mein Grow-Zelt?
Es gibt eine (relativ) einfache Formel, um zu bestimmen, welche Absaugleistung Sie für Ihren Bereich benötigen: Ermitteln Sie das Volumen Ihres Grow-Raumes in m³ (Kubikmetern) mit Breite x Länge x Höhe = Volumen. Dann multiplizieren Sie das Volumen mit 60 = Luftbewegung pro Stunde (so wird die Luft in Ihrem Grow-Raum jede Minute erneuert). Anschließend rechnen Sie mit einem Zuschlag für mögliche Biegungen im Schlauch, höhere Temperaturen oder alles, was die Ventilatorleistung beeinträchtigt. Eine sichere Annahme ist, das Ergebnis mit 1,5 bis 2 (50 % bis 100 %) zu multiplizieren.
Beachten Sie, dass es immer besser ist, den Ventilator großzügig zu dimensionieren und ihn dann mit einem Controller herunterzuregeln. So haben Sie die Flexibilität, die Leistung zu steigern und optimale Bedingungen für Ihre Pflanzen zu schaffen – zum Beispiel im Hochsommer.
Wenn Ihr Ventilator nicht überdimensioniert ist, muss er ständig auf 100 % laufen, um optimale Bedingungen zu gewährleisten, was seine Lebensdauer erheblich verkürzt (alles, was 24/7 auf 100 % läuft, wird schneller kaputt gehen!). Besser ist es, den Ventilator größer zu wählen und ihn bei 60–80 % Leistung zu betreiben – so sind Sie auch für einen größeren Grow-Raum in der Zukunft gerüstet.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
