Das abgedichtete Gehäuse ist das Ergebnis eines Ingenieurteams, das eine neue und innovative Lösung zur Reduzierung von Luftstromgeräuschen entwickelt hat. Die Lüfter besitzen leise Motoren und doppelt ausbalancierte Flügel.
Das neue Gehäuse der V2 beinhaltet einen speziell für Belüftungssysteme entwickelten, schalldämpfenden Schaumstoff, der weder Feuchtigkeit noch Staub aufnimmt. Die Metallflansche sind mit Gummidichtungen im Gehäuse eingesetzt, wodurch eine feste Abdichtung entsteht. Der Ventilator, die Flansche und das Schalldämpferrohr sind in einem leichten, stabilen und formgepressten Außengehäuse untergebracht, das den Schall effektiv dämpft.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
