Der Anbau in DWC ist sehr unkompliziert; es kommt darauf an, die Nährstofflösung in der richtigen Stärke und auf dem richtigen Stand im Behälter zu halten. Die Luftpumpe läuft ständig, sodass Sie sich keine Sorgen machen müssen, einen Timer zu verwenden.
Leeren Sie einmal pro Woche Ihren Oxypot komplett und befüllen Sie ihn mit einer frischen Nährstofflösung. Im Verlauf der Woche, wenn der Nährstoffstand sinkt, füllen Sie Ihren Behälter mit einer Nährstofflösung in 1/4 bis 1/2 Stärke auf, um den Pegel zu halten, und passen Sie den pH-Wert falls nötig an.
Vermeiden Sie, dass der Wasserstand Ihres Oxypots zu stark absinkt, da die Nährstofflösung dann konzentrierter wird, was zu Problemen durch Überdüngung führen kann.
Behalten Sie außerdem stets die Gesundheit Ihrer Pflanzen im Auge, da der Nährstoffgehalt – besonders während der Blüte – stark schwanken kann. Wenn die Spitzen Ihrer Blätter weiß oder gelb werden, handelt es sich sehr wahrscheinlich um „Tip Burn“ durch Überdüngung; verringern Sie dann die Nährstoffkonzentration oder verdünnen Sie mit mehr Wasser.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
