Die Osram Plantastar HPS-Lampe gehört zu den wenigen Lampen, die speziell für den Gartenbau entwickelt wurden. Die Farbtemperatur der Osram Plantastar liegt bei 2000K und damit fest im roten Bereich des Lichtspektrums. Es gibt zudem einen beachtlichen Anteil an Licht im blauen Spektrum, was für ein ausgewogenes und rundes Lichtspektrum für Ihre Pflanzen sorgt.
Die Osram Plantastar verwendet den gängigen E40-Fassungsanschluss und ist somit mit allen Standardreflektoren und 240V-Vorschaltgeräten kompatibel. Sie können also Ihre bisherigen 600W, 240V Lampen ganz einfach durch diese pflanzenspezifische Lampe ersetzen. Sie wurde speziell für hoch wachsende Pflanzen entwickelt, bei denen das Licht schwer die unteren Blätter erreicht. Die Osram Plantastar sorgt für eine hervorragende Durchdringung des Blattwerks. Dadurch gelangt hochwirksames PAR-Licht zu mehr Fotosynthese-Bereichen und steigert die Zuckerproduktion – was zu besseren Ernten führt.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
