Marix-Scheiben sind passend für das 1Pot-System, das easy2grow Kit und die 2Pot-Erweiterungsschalen zur Erweiterung des easy2grow Kits. Die Scheiben sind schwarz und werden im Inneren des Topfes platziert.
Der Zweck der Marix-Scheibe besteht darin, zu verhindern, dass Kompost oder Erde den Topf verlässt. Dadurch bleibt das System sauber und das AQUAvalve frei von Schmutz und Ablagerungen.
Sie bieten zudem einen gewissen Schutz vor austretenden Wurzeln. Wir empfehlen darüber hinaus die Verwendung von Pot Socks, um zu verhindern, dass Wurzeln in Ihr AquaValve hineinwachsen. Auch wenn die Marix-Scheiben mehrere Saisons halten, ist es ratsam, sie zu Beginn jeder Saison zu ersetzen. So wird vermieden, dass eventuell vorhandene Krankheiten übertragen werden.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
