Das LUMii DIGITA ECO Vorschaltgerät ist vollständig elektronisch. Diese Technologie wird durch einen Mikroprozessor gesteuert und arbeitet mit einer höheren Frequenz (Hertz) als herkömmliche magnetische Vorschaltgeräte, sodass mehr Licht Ihre Pflanzen erreicht. Es ist zudem effizienter, was bedeutet, dass pro verbrauchtem Watt mehr Leistung erzielt wird.
Das LUMii DIGITA ECO Vorschaltgerät ist dimmbar und verfügt über eine Boost-Funktion für jede Lampengröße, sodass Sie die Lichtausgabe steuern können. Beim neuen LUMii DIGITA ECO Vorschaltgerät geht weniger Leistung beim Übertragen von Strom von der Steckdose zur Lampe verloren. Eine bessere Energieverwaltung bedeutet mehr Licht für die Pflanze und einen geringeren Energieverbrauch.
Auch die Qualität des erzeugten Lichts ist dank der im Gerät integrierten LUMii Power-Management-Software, die die Lampenalterung und Netzschwankungen überwacht, deutlich stabiler. Dies sorgt für eine höhere Hertzrate und optimale Lichtwerte. Die Lampe zündet sehr schnell, benötigt beim Start weniger Energie und bietet Ihren Pflanzen innerhalb von 5 Minuten eine Lichtquelle mit vollem Spektrum (bei magnetischen Vorschaltgeräten kann es bis zu 20 Minuten dauern, bis die Lampe ihre volle Helligkeit erreicht).
Das LUMii DIGITA ECO Vorschaltgerät ist eines der leisesten Vorschaltgeräte auf dem Markt – ohne Brummen oder Vibrationen (dies ist bei magnetischen oder lüftergekühlten elektronischen Geräten üblich) – und dabei sehr leicht.
Das LUMii DIGITA ECO Vorschaltgerät verfügt über integrierte Sicherheitsfunktionen, die die Schaltkreise des Geräts schützen, falls ein Kurzschluss erkannt wird. Erkennt das Vorschaltgerät eine ungewöhnliche Ein- oder Ausgangsspannung aufgrund einer alten oder defekten Lampe, zündet es die Lampe nicht. Das Vorschaltgerät ist innen mit Harz ausgegossen, was die Bauteile vor Staub schützt und eine gleichmäßige Wärmeverteilung gewährleistet – daher ist kein Lüfter erforderlich.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
