Das LUMii Black 60W DIGITAL Vorschaltgerät ist eines der leisesten auf dem Markt – ohne Brummen oder Vibrationen. Es gehört außerdem zu den kleinsten und kühlsten Vorschaltgeräten, die derzeit erhältlich sind. Das LUMii DIGITA ist extrem leicht; ein 600W-Gerät wiegt nur 3 kg, verglichen mit 8 kg bei einem 600W-Magnetvorschaltgerät.
Die LUMii DIGITA Vorschaltgeräte besitzen integrierte Sicherheitsfunktionen, die die Geräteschaltungen schützen, falls ein Kurzschluss erkannt wird. Wenn das Vorschaltgerät eine ungewöhnliche Ein- oder Ausgangsspannung – verursacht durch eine alte oder beschädigte Lampe – feststellt, wird es nicht versuchen, die Lampe zu zünden.
Das LUMii DIGITA Vorschaltgerät ist im Inneren mit Kunstharz vergossen. Dadurch sind die Komponenten vor Staub geschützt und eine gleichmäßige Wärmeverteilung wird gewährleistet – es ist somit kein Lüfter notwendig.
Wie funktioniert der Dimmer?
Die Dimmfunktion des LUMii DIGITA Vorschaltgeräts ermöglicht es dem Benutzer, die Lichtleistung über den Phasenregler zu steuern. Der Dimmer bietet 4 Einstellungen, einschließlich einer Boost-Funktion, und verleiht dem Anwender damit maximale Kontrolle. Für optimale Ergebnisse sollte jeweils die passende Lampe zur gewählten Wattstufe verwendet werden.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
