Die Green Power Schütze sind unglaublich robuste und dennoch einfach aufgebaute Geräte, die zum zeitgesteuerten Schalten von Lampen oder Ventilatoren eingesetzt werden. Green Power Einheiten werden im Vereinigten Königreich unter Lizenz von Canatronics gefertigt und entsprechen deren hohen Ansprüchen an Konstruktion und Herstellung.
Warum ein Schütz verwenden?
Pflanzen benötigen eine Dunkelphase. Daher stellen die meisten Züchter eine Zeitschaltuhr so ein, dass die Pflanzenbeleuchtung zu bestimmten Zeiten ein- und ausgeschaltet wird. HPS- und HID-Wachstumslampen erzeugen beim Einschalten einen hohen elektrischen Einschaltstrom.
Ohne ein Schütz fließt dieser Stromstoß durch die Zeitschaltuhr und kann dazu führen, dass diese durchbrennt – mit der Folge, dass die Lampen dauerhaft ein- oder ausgeschaltet bleiben, bis Sie sie manuell schalten.
Mit einem Schütz läuft der Strom durch die robusten Schaltkomponenten des Schützes. Der Einschaltstrom gelangt nicht zur Zeitschaltuhr selbst und ein Durchbrennen wird somit verhindert.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
