Die Wissenschaft
Neutralise wurde speziell entwickelt, um gezielt Chlor und Chloramin im Leitungswasser zu bekämpfen. Chlor ist ein starkes Desinfektionsmittel, das dem Trinkwassernetz im gesamten Vereinigten Königreich zugesetzt wird, um potenziell schädliche Bakterien abzutöten. Sicherlich ist Ihnen der Geruch von Chlor beim Händewaschen oder Duschen schon einmal aufgefallen.
Chlor allein im Leitungswasser kann einige unerwünschte, schädliche Nebenprodukte erzeugen, daher verwenden Wasserversorger auch eine stabilere Form von Chlor, das sogenannte Chloramin. Dabei wird Ammoniak in gechlortes Wasser gegeben. Chloramin ist deutlich beständiger als reines Chlor und somit effektiver beim Abtöten von Bakterien – bis hin zum Trinken eines Glases Leitungswassers oder beim Gießen Ihrer Pflanzen.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
