Warum pH?
Pflanzen nehmen ihre Nährstoffe über Mineralien auf, aber sie können alle benötigten Mineralien nur dann aufnehmen, wenn bestimmte Bedingungen stimmen. Vergleichen Sie Nährstoffe mit einem Schloss – der pH-Wert ist der Schlüssel dazu. Ein entscheidender Faktor für die Nährstoffaufnahme ist, ob Ihre Lösung sauer oder alkalisch ist. Wir messen dies über den pH-Wert.
Der Bluelab pH Pen misst auch die Temperatur der Lösung, da die Wurzelgesundheit entscheidend für den Erfolg der Ernte ist. Die Temperatur beeinflusst die Wachstumsrate und Struktur einer Pflanze, daher wird eine Lösungstemperatur von 18–22 Grad Celsius oder 65–72 Grad Fahrenheit empfohlen.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
