Jetzt auch mit optionalem steuerbaren Vorschaltgerät, das über einen PWM RJ14 Anschluss verfügt – das bedeutet, es kann physisch mit externen Controllern (mit den passenden Adaptern) wie Trolmaster, AC Infinity und Telos Grow Cast verbunden werden – ob die Software kompatibel ist, wird derzeit noch geprüft!
LEDs, die von einem HPS-Vorschaltgerät betrieben werden, sind derzeit sehr beliebt und eine tolle „Brücken-LED“ für alle, die von HPS auf LED umsteigen möchten und dabei aufs Budget achten müssen. Wir haben diese LEDs mit einem Apogee PAR-Messgerät getestet, und die PPFD-Werte liegen bei etwa 1000–1200 PPFD über das gesamte Blätterdach hinweg aus 12'' Abstand – das ist beeindruckend!
Bedenke jedoch, so günstig diese LEDs auch scheinen mögen, sie haben auch Nachteile: Sie sind in der Regel weniger effizient (Watt Input zu PPFD Output), werden wärmer und die Dioden verschleißen schneller (weniger PPFD im Verlauf der Zeit).
Um die Effizienz zu verdeutlichen: Ein DIMLUX 500w Xtreme LED liefert bereits bei nur 55 % Leistung genauso viel PPFD wie diese 720 W HPS-Vorschalt-LEDs bei 100 %. Aber natürlich kostet der Dimlux auch mehr als das Doppelte!
Fazit: Wenn du von den heißen HPS-Lampen auf LED umsteigen möchtest, aber auf kurze Sicht kein Vermögen investieren willst, sind diese HPS-gesteuerten LEDs eine großartige Option. Ein Vergleich aus unserem Laden: Es ist wie der Unterschied zwischen einem Zweitwagen und einem Audi R8; Lynx Africa versus Paco Rabanne; Elizabeth Duke versus Tiffany; Casio versus Rolex. Du verstehst, worauf wir hinauswollen.
Das Adjusta-Watt Retro LED 720 W ist eine extrem preiswerte Option für Grower, die von HPS umrüsten möchten. Das Adjusta-Watt® Retro LED erreicht einen durchschnittlichen PPFD von 1231 μmol/s/m² bei 15 cm Abstand zum Blätterdach – das ist extrem hoch!
Ein weiteres Plus des Retro LED ist die Größe: Obwohl es ein 720-Watt-Gerät ist, misst es nur 900 x 900 mm und wiegt ca. 7 kg. Es kann daher auch in kleineren Growboxen ab 1 x 1 m eingesetzt werden.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
